Day 1: Depart the USA on our flight to Malta.
Day 2: Arrival to Malta. Transfer to the Hotel
Day 3:
Half
day walking tour of the city of Valletta, the city built by the knights
of St. John. Start the tour at the Upper Barracca Garden, visit
St. John's co-cathedral (incl. the famous painting of Caravaggio "the
Beheading of St. John"), St. Paul's shipwreck church and the Grand
Master Palace. Afternoon visit the three cities (Vittoriosa,
Senglea, Cospicua) and enjoy a cruise of Valletta's Grand Harbour.
Entrance fees included for the Inquisitor’s Palace, the Kalkara Cemetery
and the Maritime Museum. Tickets included for Valletta Harbor Cruise.
Day 4: Today is a half day tour of Malta. Visit the Xewjika Dome
(fees included.) Rest of the day is at leisure.
 Day 5:
Visit
the Blue Grotto by traditional Luzzo boats and the pre-historic temples
of Hagar Qim. Continue to Marsaxlokk - a fishing village in the south of
the island - for a visit of the local market. Rest of the day at
leisure.
Day 6: Full day excursion to Gozo by coach and ferry. Visit the
citadel of Victoria and it's cathedral, the Ggantija temples in Xaghra
and the Azure Window at Dwejra Bay. Dinner at Archie’s Restaurant in
Mellieha.
Day 7: Full day at leisure.
Day 8:
Departure to the USA. |
