Day 1:  NORTH AMERICA / PARIS.  Depart USA on our overnight flight to Paris, France.  Please arrive at the airport three hours before departure. Dinner and breakfast served in flight.

Day 2:  PARIS.  We arrive at the Charles De Gaulle airport and are transferred to our hotel by motor coach and guide.  The rest of our day is free at leisure with dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Day 3:  PARIS.  This morning, we take a tour of the magnificent Louvre Museum.  We admire the masterpieces and learn how Christianity has been reflected in the arts throughout the ages.  We next visit the site of the infamous St. Bartholomew's Day massacre, which began near the Louvre.  In August of 1572, during the Wars of Religion, thousands of French Protestants known as Huguenots were massacred for their beliefs.  For years, these devout Christians were severely persecuted for their strong faith in Christ and many were forced to flee France.  We continue our tour with a visit to Notre Dame and the Cathedral.  Then, we stop at the Eiffel Tower, including entrance to the second floor.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Day 4:  PARIS / VERSAILLES.  After breakfast this morning, we drive to Versailles, the most royal palace in Europe.  Tour the former home and extravagant gardens of the "Sun King", Louis the XIV and see why it became the model of grandeur for all European palaces.  Afterwards, we return to Paris for activities of our own choosing with dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Day 5:  PARIS / COLEVILLE-SUR-MER / VIERVILLE .  This morning we depart Paris for Colleville-Sur-Mer and a visit to the U.S. Military Cemetery - the 9,400 white marble crosses are a stark reminder of the cost of victory.  Then, we continue to Vierville for a panoramic view of Omaha Beach and Pointe Du Hoc.  Omaha Beach is where some 2,400 American soldiers lost their lives in their battle to invade Germany’s Fortress Europa.  At the end of the day, we return to Paris for dinner and overnight.

Day 6:  PARIS / BLACK PARIS HISTORY.  After breakfast, we take a panoramic visit to the Arc de Triomphe, site of the WWII Harlem Hellfighters Homecoming.  Then, we will stop outside the #92 Rue de Beri - the site commemorating Thomas Jefferson.  Visits are included for the Avenue Montaigne and the Revue Negre Theater.  Next, we stop for a panoramic view of Barbes – Rochechouart, the Little Africa of Paris.  We next visit Monmartre - the Harlem of Paris during the 1920’s.  Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7:  PARIS.  Today we drive to Giverny to visit the magnificent gardens and visit Claude Monet’s house and gardens.  We then return to Paris for an afternoon at leisure and activities of our own.  Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Day 8: PARIS.  After breakfast, we depart for the airport for our return flight to home – the end of a most enjoyable journey.
