DAY 1 NORTH AMERICA /
ENROUTE. Tour members will meet at the
airport three hours prior to departure to Addis Ababa. Dinner and
breakfast will be served in flight.
DAY 2 ADDIS ABABA.
Upon our evening arrival in Addis Ababa, we will be met by a
representative at the airport and transferred to our hotel. Overnight in
Addis Ababa.
DAY 3 ADDIS ABABA/ AXUM.
Morning departure to the airport for the
flight to Axum. Upon arrival a representative will meet us and assist us
with our hotel check-in. Sightseeing
DAY 4 AXUM / LALIBELA.
We have breakfast at the hotel this morning and then transfer to the
airport for the flight to Lalibela. Upon arrival we are met by a
representative at the airport and check in at our hotel. Visit all Rock
hewn churches in Lalibela.
DAY 5 LALIBELA / BAHAR DAR.
Breakfast at the hotel this morning and then we’re off to the airport
for our flight to Bahar Dar. After checking in at the hotel, we will
visit the wood market and the papyrus boats and the palace of the
Emperor Haile Selassie from the outside. Overnight in Bahar Dar.
 DAY
6 BAHAR DAR / ADDIS ABABA. Today we will
have an early breakfast before driving 32 km. from the town and visit
the Blue Nile Falls. We will then transfer to the airport for our return
back to Addis Ababa, where we will overnight.
DAY 7 ADDIS ABABA / AIRPORT.
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our city tour of Addis Ababa.
Highlights include the Archaeological Ethnological Museum, Trinity
Cathedral and Lion’s Cage. This afternoon continue sightseeing, visiting
St. George Cathedral, Handicraft center, the grand market known as “Mercato”.
We then drive to Mt. Entoto to enjoy a stupendous view over the
mountains. Return to the airport for our return flight home.
DAY 8 ARRIVAL USA.
Arrive home this afternoon. The end of a most enjoyable tour. |
