Dear Friends,
In the years I have been privileged to make this journey, I can remember a tour,
a few years ago, that I consider one of the best. We were treated like long lost
family, not just by the Jewish community alone but by Jew and Palestinian alike.
Little children stood along the road side and threw us kisses as we traveled
into Bethlehem, Jericho, and Bethany. In March of 2009, my wife and I spent two
weeks working with the people of the land and living in the West Bank. There was
no evidence of violence nor did we ever feel unsafe. The news media will never
show the love the people of Israel have for the Americans.
I am at this time planning for “L Shana Haba B’ Yerushalayim” (next year
in Jerusalem). We will visit the Land of God and see all of the
wonderful places mentioned in the Bible. What a Dream Come True to
walk where Jesus walked. Literally we will travel from His cradle to His grave.
If you have been trying to decide on an Once-in-a-Lifetime trip,
the Holy Lands is it. Every Christian will receive growth, “in grace and in
the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).
